Captive Portal doest work with wireless interface

I can't get the captive portal to work with the wireless interface (opt1) on my wrap board. It works fine if i select Lan interface, but as soon as select opt1 for the captive portal interface it doesn't work. I cannot even ping the ip of the wireless interface at that point. Any help would be apprecaited.
Thanks in advance

Did you go into the interface and add the appropriate firewall rules? By default, the optional interfaces have no rules, so no traffic will pass.
I ran into this exact same scenario when I tried to switch my CP from the LAN interface to the wireless.

Yes, i did add the correct firewall rules. After more testing I figured out that if I enable the per user bandwidth restriction option in the captive portal, I can no longer pass traffic. It works fine on the LAN just not the wireless. I would like to limit the bandwidth per user, am i doing something wrong or should i just configure traffic shaping outside of the captive portal?
Thanks for your reply

Well nothing, including DNS resolution, will work properly on an OPT interface without rules. Does the interface work without CP?
