Hello, I was testing m0n0wall on my old PC tonight and I got it to detect 1 of my Ethernet cards, but it wouldn't detect my other 2 Ethernet cards... So I was wondering if m0n0wall only works with certain Ethernet cards, thanks!

Ten four big buddy, FreeBSD has a limited support of network cards, like most operating systems.

The trick is to find ethernet cards that are going to work wit this.

Call me baby.

I'm running m0n0wall, on an old Pentium II machine.

There are a limited number of supported cards, but when it comes to Ethernet cards, virtually anything will work. A few newer cards with 1.2x m0n0wall versions may be an issue.

It's more likely that you need to disable plug and play OS in your BIOS, or re-order the NIC's, or something of that nature than the card not being supported. I would first verify that the NIC's are indeed supported before messing around any further, but that's almost certain to be the case.
