Hello all,

I haven't been able to configure a static ip and pppoe which I do have is this possible with monowall?

When using PPPoE with static IP's, the IP is generally automatically assigned to a static address, or else you get additional IP addresses for which you'll have to use proxy ARP.

Thanks for the reply, I'm not worried about the assignment of IP that  works fine.  I am more familiar with iptables/linux kernel when the host is using a dynamic ip there is more overhead for natting is the same true for freeBSD/ipfw ??
