can i use my backup config file from 1.2 version and upload it to the latest monowall, and have all my rules set,
th ereason i say is because i try the upload firmware version and i get it always hung up and it never works good, so i wanted to know if it would matter

You can restore any m0n0wall config on any m0n0wall version. The firmware upload page is not the place to do it, use the backup/restore page.

i am aware of the restore utility, would it matter if it was from a different version of monowall, is what i am asking?
