Hi.First of all I don`t speak English good.
I installed m0n0wall, configured IP 172.17.0.1 with mask 255.255.0.0, but when I try to ping my another home pc with IP 172.17.0.2 and mask 255.255.0.0, it says:
no route to host
172.17.0.2 is a windows pc and it cannot ping 172.17.0.1. It says Request time out.
In the m0n0wall pc, when I try to ping 172.17.0.1 (thahts it`s own adress)
no route to host
I founded my networx adapter, and make link, but it just doesn`t work! My Ethernet Adapter is VIA
Can someone help me?

255.255.0.0 (/16) is a valid subnet mask, as is 255.255.255.0 (/24). The latter permits 256 addresses on the net while the latter permits 256*256 for a much larger subnet. Mono's netmask in this case would not have prevented a ping to 172.17.0.2.
We need more detail to help you sort this out. First off, when you say mono is 172.17.0.1/16, is this on its WAN, LAN or other? What are the IP settings for the other interfaces (have a look at the Status->Interfaces page)? When you pinged 172.17.0.2 from mono did you select the right interface to ping from? How is the second pc connected? Direct with a crossover cable? a straight cable? through a switch? to which mono interface? Make sure all the connection LEDs are lit that should be.
