Greetings all,

I've been using m0n0wall now for about 6 months and currently have 1.233 loaded up on my system; for the most part it works great, however I get kernel fatal trap 12's when I start moving a lot of data (mostly torrents).

No matter what I change to try and fix it nothing helps, so I wanted to try upgrading to the latest beta to see if anything improves except that when I try to do a firmware upgrade, it doesn't take place.

I back up my configuration, enable firmware updating through the webGUI, select the image and go from there.  From the console it seems that it gets the firmware, and reboots the system, however it reboots back into 1.233.

For reference, I'm running a AMD K6-2 333 system with 96MB of ram, and a 32MB CF card.  The image i'm running is for generic-pc (http://m0n0.ch/wall/download.php?file=generic-pc-1.233.img) and the image i'm trying to upgrade to is also generic-pc (http://m0n0.ch/wall/download.php?file=generic-pc-1.3b10.img)

Is it possible to do an update to 1.3b from 1.2x, or do I need to re-image the CF with the new version and boot?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Derek.
